Echoes of Identity

This self-portrait was inspired by the incredible work of Angela Grossmann. Her raw, expressive style and layered storytelling deeply resonated with me, shaping how I explored identity and emotion in this piece. Through texture, drips, and fragmented figures, I found a connection between her artistic voice and my own. The layers create a sense of movement and fading presence—like echoes reverberating through time. It’s also a reflection of how artists influence one another, with elements of her style woven into my own interpretation. Immense gratitude to Angela Grossmann for her inspiring body of work.
